Waterborne PIGMENTED painting cycle for exterior (windows and doors)
Support: solid woods in different conifer veneers for the construction of doors, windows and articles dimensionally stable.
Preparation of the support with IDROSIV, waterborne impregnant LWW200 transparent, colored or LWW274 White:
LWW IDROSIV ready to use. Application by dip, by brush or flow-coating.
About 4-6 hours later light sanding with 280-320 grain paper or scotch-brite, application of 1 coat of waterborne sealer LWY512 White or LWY100 colored with Concentrate pigmented pastes series LXW as reported in our Tintometric System WINTnt. Rate 90/10 between converter and pastes.
LWY512 white or LWY100 colored IDROVER – waterborne pigmented sealer. Application by spray with airmix or airless pump.
About 4-6 hours later, or the day after, once sanded with 280-320 grain abrasive paper:
Application of colored tixotropic top-coat
LWY601 white or LWY153 (converter for waterborne colored topcoats as described in our Tintometric System WINTnt. Rate 90/10 between converter and pastes), dil. 10% max with LZD786. Application by spray with airless pump.
Alternative cycle: faster and good quality
Preparation of the support with IDROSIV, waterborne impregnant LWW200 transparent, colored or LWW274 Whitee:
LWW IDROSIV ready to use. Application by dip, by brush or flow-coating.
About 4-6 hours later, or the day after, once sanded with 280-320 grain abrasive paper:
Application of colored tixotropic top-coat
LWY601 white or LWY153 (converter for waterborne colored topcoats as described in our Tintometric System WINTnt. Rate 90/10 between converter and pastes), dil. 10% max with LZD786. Application by spray with airless pump: 2 coats spaced out by about 3-4 hours without intermediate sanding.
