Contributing to Nuova Sivam’s success is its focus on export growth with one of its geographic focus areas including North America – Canada and USA, where a subsidiary was opened in 2017.
Entry into the North American market started with Canada in 2014 in the province of Quebec with our partner, Richelieu Hardware. Starting with one of Richelieu’s Wood Coatings hub, successful results were achieved, leading to the plan to expand into Richelieu’s points of distribution carrying wood coatings. The partnership has produced very good results – for Richelieu, Nuova Sivam and our customers. Quality products for quality customers!
The growth that started from the initial location in Montreal, Quebec has expanded to 19 distribution points in North America!
The customer base includes a wide range of market segments – kitchen and bath cabinets, millwork, residential and commercial furniture, hospitality, musical instruments and exterior. The products are mainly interior and exterior polyurethane and acrylic two component and waterborne interior and exterior one component. Our products and service have been well received and we are performing well against the competition.
We took part in the IWF Wood Fair in August 2018 in Atlanta. A great booth with very good activity and an introduction of Nuova Sivam to the Wood Coatings Market.
